Have you heard of the book, ""The Care and Keeping of You"?
This is a book for young girls (if there's one for guys, I don't know, but it should be obvious as to why...) dedicated to bringing understanding about our bodies and the changes they go through as we grow.
Gravity should be the final chapter, but isn't yet...hmmmm, may be my next endeavor... ok , back to my point.
This morning I was 'given' an amazing pearl of wisdom, "Your words are POWERFUL! Your words to yourself are PIVOTAL!"
The word PIVOTAL means VITALLY IMPORTANT, especially in determining the outcome, progress, or success of something
WOW! Talk about the care and keeping of you! This should really be page number 1 and THE END: Be careful what words you speak about yourself.
How many taimes do I go through a day and say in my mind, if not on my lips, "Duh! Stupid! What were you thinking? Idiot!" And NO one would DARE talk to me the way I speak to myself.
True for you too, isn't it?
Yea, God asks us in His Word to "Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ". This is so powerful! Every thought...including the thoughts about yourself.
Dear Reader, YOU are amazing! So, it's timje to take your thoughts captive and begin to speak WORDS OF LIFE over yourself! YOU are LOVED!

If it Feels Good, Do It!
The other day I was whistling while walking through a Wally World. A song in my heart, but didn’t feel it was appropriate to sing as loudly as I wanted to, so I whistled. And as another lady and I looked at one another and winked and smiled…friendly…I had to STOP WHISTLING!
This woman had such an incredible smile; I stopped just to tell her so! Now, admittedly, perhaps a little awkward, but realistically, I was just given the opportunity to BLESS SOMEONE’S DAY! I’ve got to tell you, that felt SOOO good! The rest of my day I reminded myself of that moment, and the surprised smile I received as she quietly said, “Thank you”.
I LOVE moments like these. These are GOD MOMENTS! These are the moments God uses a person to bless ‘both gift and giver’. It was a moment like the one that churned this title in my heart.
The reality is hurting someone is both birthed out of, and continues the growth pattern of pain.
Think about a time when you’ve made fun of someone who was different from you. Too skinny, fat, short, tall, blonde, culturally different, different economic status…how did you feel? Was it a great feeling? Did you think, “Wow! I wanna do that again!!”
My thought is, “NO! Absolutely not”. My thought is you yourself felt some hurt, ugliness, maybe even sorrow or regret, or even shame over bringing pain to someone else’s life. I’ve felt those same things.
Compare that to the times you’ve said to someone, “Wow! Great dress!”, “Have a great day!” Feels REAL GOOD, huh? Yup! Do you know why?
“He who refreshes will himself be refreshed” Proverbs 11:25
Today, make a choice to refresh someone, and feel the mighty rush of happy that comes your way afterward.
These are the things that TRULY feel good. They don’t carry baggage, hurt or pain; but LIFE.

Why I am Where I am
I was pondering my job the other other day. Now, I love my job! I don't know anyone else who honestly loves their job as much as I do. All day I get to meet amazing new women, drive around and help them to launch their businesses, get to know their stories, and connect with them.
Often times I have the opportunity to speak into their lives regarding their plans, goals, and dreams for the future.
It amazes me that I get to be employed by the #1 Company in its' field doing exactly the thing I was created to do. I love what I do!
Now, there's another side to my job...the part I try not to focus on, because when I do, I forget about my love for it. These are the numbers. Corporate America is tied to numbers, and with good reason. Relationships don't show the bottom line, money maker, but the numbers do. How many will sign up this week, what kind of sales will they generate, will they encourage others to sign, etc. The numbers...the numbers...
Recently I've allowed myself to be so focused on "the numbers" that I haven't been productive in the part of the job I love.
Thus, losing sight of the real reason I love my job has caused me to stress beyond understanding. And 'casting all my cares' seemed almost futile. (Yet I continued to try).
I received a text message, from a person I've known for a very short while. Three months maybe. She thanked me for being a 'mentor' to her in so many ways. Kind...a blessing...to say my heart was thrilled would be a massive understatement.
Later, and seemingly all at once, I knew in my heart...THIS is why my feet have been placed here. The stress of the numbers, and feeling the weight of the burden, and wondering if it was 'towel time'. So much has come together for me to have this individual in my path. And God ordained and caused our paths to meet precisely now, in this precise way, so that her heart had an opening to allow God in.
This wouldn't have happened three months ago...or perhaps not for another 14 years. I am certain her heart would have become bare to the God who loves her and chases relentlessly after her...as a man passioantely in love with his bride will chase without surrender. God would move heaven and earth for her..and He will do the same for you, dear Reader.
But in this mon=ment of stress and breaking, I realized a few things of my self, and the One Who rescued me...
1) God will use anything, anyone, and set footsteps in order years before the result ever comes to fruition just to meet with you one on one. His planner is filled with appointments.
2) Success comes often through stress. This morning I realized the weight and pressure of what I've been feeling to help one person find a Resource for her questions...can you imagine what Jesus felt stress over? His was not the weight of one, but the weight of millions.
3) Where God places your feet, He will use you, honor you, and bless you
4) Don't bail before the miracle comes. Withstand the pressure. Stand strong, keep your feet planted, and allow your roots to grow deep. So you can be a full tree, planted by streams of living water, that brings refreshing to the weary soul.

It is Well...
Well, Well, Well, my cat fell in the well....Well Done or Medium Well?...well, shall I go on?
The word "Well" has a variety of meaning. Check out your local dictionary.com for details.
But what does it mean, "It is well with my soul"?
IT: in the song refers to happiness, sadness, triumph, tragedy, peace, or turmoil, or any situation of experience
IS: Now! Not going to be, not has been, but AT THIS MOMENT
WITH: gives a concept of something that doesn't easily flee or flitter about.
WITH is a constant.
MY: Belonging to me
SOUL: the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part.
So, saying "It is with my soul" is accurate, it is correct. Whatever in your circumstance "IT" is, "it" is.The difference comes in how you respond to "IT".It is 'tough' with my soul; It is 'irritating' with my soul; AHHH...here's one more common than we humans like to admit:
"It is FIGHTING AGGRESIVELY with my soul"
What makes "IT" "WELL"? Satisfactory, pleasing, or good
The moment you make a decision that whatever you encounter, good or bad, can and will be used to grow you, change you, and create you into the person you need to be for those around you and for yourself...then the storm, the battle, the pain...then the "IT" is good and pleasing, and brings satisfaction. Then, and only then can every encounter you experience speak to your heart loudly,
"IT is WELL with my Soul"
